Last Friday night/Saturday morning someone cut the locks on my trailer and stole my race bike.  I was parked at the Hampton Inn in Inwood, WV.  The bike is a 2010 Yamaha R6, #311, blue and white with Armour Bodies bodywork.  The bike has never been down except the forks and engine case covers (woodcraft) have scrapes and gauges on them since they came off my old bike.

Other info on the bike:
VIN: JYARJ16E7AA020069
Engine ID#: J516E-0026471
Penske shock (8987) - this also is older as it came off my last bike
Woodcraft rearsets/clip-ons
Akropovic exhaust, SS w/ titanium can
Scotts steering damper
Quickshifter/PCV/QEM
Wheels on it at the time were off my old bike ('06 R6) so they don't have the white stripes

Whoever stole it dropped their cell phone in my trailer so I'm really hoping I get it back.  Cameras also were on both sides of the hotel - 3 days later I haven't heard anything yet though.  If anyone hears anything or thinks they see any of it up for sale anywhere please call Berkeley Country Sheriff's department (WV), CCS, local police or let me know!

Umm, do you have the number for the phone that was dropped or even the ESN? If you can tell me that and the carrier the phone is on I can get the info for who it belongs to in most cases or even if its a prepaid phone that doesn't have a real person registered on the account I may be able to look up the purchase for the phone. Let me know....

Can you include some photographs of the bike? Might help everyone who is sharing the info on social media if they can show pictures of it too. Any with and without the body work? Hope you get it back, good luck.

I've shared everywhere I know of; I agree w/Colin; please post pics of the bike if possible; also follow the cell phone leads.  This sucks for sure :(

I gave the phone to the police right away so I don't have any info on it other than it was an AT&T flip phone.  The cop was looking through text messages on it and contacts but didn't say if he saw anything good in there.  He was going to call AT&T and get the guy's address but I don't know if he ever did or not.

Here are a couple pictures of the bike.

It should be an automatic quick getum when the cops get that phone, good luck.

I used to own a couple of car dealerships, the police are useless when it comes to vehicle thefts.  (they just don't give it any priority)  Since we had a $50k deductible we needed to get our cars back!  We hired private investigators, they ALWAYS recovered our cars.  Sorry I didn't see this post sooner.  In my experience (and I have way too much) the only time law enforcement will recover a stolen vehicle is if someone tries to register it and the VIN pops up as stolen, or by accident.  Give a PI $1500 and get him out there looking.

If anyone has any way to contact the OP, please have him call the Woodstock VA Police Department at 540-459-6101 regarding recovery information on this motorcycle.
