Apologies to Kevin Van Engen if he doesn't want to boast, but I gotta give props.

Kevin ran his Superbike SV to a best lap of 1:13.217 at BHF this past weekend. In addition, he ran many more 13's over the course of the weekend. Stop by and see his bike sometime. It's nothing particularly special, hell, it's barely modded.

I have seen Kevin do amazing things so far this year, but he didn't even look like he was working hard this past weekend. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the year.

Again, apologies to KVE, but dammit, man, you are kicking some serious ass!

Mr. Todd Evans was also very impressive.  Very fun to watch those guys!
Well how could there be two number 1's? It'd be number 11 then?

Farmboy

Absolutely! Todd ran his Buell to a 1:13.5! His near 500 pound Buell. Apologies to him for lack of a mention..

I'm sure that they've run both bikes to record times for each model/brand. I suspect that Kevin has the new lightweight track record (not including 250 GP bike times) as well. Anyone confirm or deny?

I don't know how these guys are doing it this year. It sucks to watch from the side of the track, but it sure is awesome to bear witness!

Hey thanks guys!

Kevin and I had a great weekend and a lot of fun. We were talking this past weekend and we both believe we have 1:12's in us. The next race should be exciting!!

Farmboy

I am going to come up with something really awesome for dinner.

We will celebrate, oh yes we will.

Fast Eddy

It was awesome. I got a front row seat for a lap or so cause they passed me.
Their race was run @ the same time as my F40.

Great job guys.

Thanks Jim. I appreciate all your support this year.

As Todd mentioned, we think 12's are in the cards. As for last weekend it's possible I was out of speed with my current suspension settings. Back to the drawing board we go... Next weekend I'm going to spend a bit of time with Dustin Boyed (our mw Pirelli vender) and Scotty from TSE to get my bike sorted out. This would be the first time I've really focused on my suspension setting. I hope that helps. I also believe a steering damper of better quality than my $21 made in Taiwan damper should stabilize my bike a bit.

Evans was an absolute killer out there. I knew he was close, however, after seeing some pics I had no idea he was in striking distance. I have a plan for him as well. Good luck out there buddy! Lets have some fun.

Grasshopper

Some fast laps fellows. Good job.
