2011 Chili Cook Off / Airfence Fundraiser Event!

Next weekend is the annual Chili Cook Off competition at Blackhawk Farms.  The event will be held on Saturday September 3rd immediately following the Nesba trackday event (5:00 PM).  There is no gate fee to get into the track during the day or for the evenings festivities.

We've hosted this event for the last few years and in a short amount of time have managed to become the 2nd largest contributor to the Road Racing World Action Fund for air fence.

Contributors List:

Competitors will cook up their best chili recipe.  All attendees will be able to purchase voting tickets and sample all the entrants chili.  You'll cast your votes for best chili and we crown the 2011 Chili Cook Off Champion!

We'll then host an auction for some of the great racer autographed memorabilia, vendor services and products so graciously donated to the cause.

ALL of the money raised at this event is given to the Road Racing World Action Fund and designated for purchase of air fence that will be used specifically at Blackhawk Farms.  The money raised at this event is used to increase safety for you and your friends!

A big thanks goes out the staff off Blackhawk Farms!  They store, place, maintain and repair the sections of air fence. The air fence is used at ALL motorcycle events held at the track.

Anyone that has watched motorcycle racing or participated in a track day event knows just how valuable air fence can be to reduce injury in the event of a crash.

If you ride on the track, race or know someone that does, come out for a great time, great food and support the cause!  Organize a group ride and come out with all your friends!

If you would like to compete in the chili competition, send me a PM and I will get you the details.  If you or your company is willing to donate products or services, motorcycle related or not, please let me know!  Your help is greatly appreciated.  If you're coming out, but your chili recipe is a family secret you can't share, feel free to bring out a side dish or dessert!

Hope to see you there!
