lightweight battery for the R6

i like the 8 cell Balistic batteries. Never put a charger on them in over a year on either of my 2 bikes.. R6, both with tight squish, one is 2mm overbore.
yes, a 4 cell is a little lighter, but not 1/2 as light. The 8 cell is still MUCH lighter than a stock battery, and will ensure you have plenty of cranking power.

8 cell for the win.  I started with a 4 cell on my 600RR in 2010 and had periodic slow start/no start issues.  Switched to 8 cell part way through the season and still going strong with 0 problems after 2.5 seasons.  I've never put it on any kind of charger either.

We've used the Full Spectrum 4-cell on the R6 for several years without any issues.  My dad's SV does need the 8-cell battery though for the cranking power on the twin.

We still can't believe how good the FSP's are.  Never an issue.  They just keep getting stronger and stronger, the more you crank them it seems.
