kickstand removal and rewire

can anyone tell me how involved rewiring  and removing kickstand on 2009 GSX-R 600, I'm fairly mechainical, but I have never done this before.

If it is anything like my 07 you can simply cut the switch out and solder the wires together. Be sure to use heat shrink on the connection and do it as far up as possible. I believe I did mine close to the tank where the connector goes to the wiring harness.

In my experience working at WFO, you can do what Andi said with no problem, just don't tie the clutch lever switch wires together. Doing so will cause the box to put the igniting timing in retarded mode and will kill power and rpm's.
