I saw it mentioned on the homepage but no mention inthe mailer.  Did I miss it?

It's in tiny print on pg 5 - under the Pre-Entry instructions, 2: Class Section on page 5:

"If taking part in a special event (Rookies Cup, Ultralight ThunderBike, Sidecars, etc, please write in the appropriate information on the Special Event lines."

Altho' I don't know when, Kevin has said he'll be making individual announcements about the new classes.

Interesting.  DId they throw the SV650 guys a bone?   Guess we'll find out when we see the class rules.....

There alot better at giving us the bone than they are throwing them! Maybe it will be a new class, that would be a good thing.

I believe Ultralight Thunder bike is designed around the Ninja 250. Spec racing on the cheap is always a good way to bring new racers into the sport. It's also a good way to get youngsters out on the big tracks without all the 125 GP bike voo doo.
