After 15yrs of playing this game, I have to say, that was just too fu@kin to race in.  After the ex GTU, I thought I was going to die.  Off the bike, into the trailer with AC, down to almost nothing, TONS of water and I still thought I was going to drop dead.

Still had a great time and my hat off to all of the CCS and corner workers that had to deal with the oven this weekend.

I don't know how, but the GTO felt like the shortest GT I've ever done.  Could've just been that I was having so much fun riding my RSV4 on the track for the first time.

It was brutal.  Riding in it doesnt bother me, but pitting in the heat blows.

In the shade on Saturday. :wtf:

The Heat was more than anything I have experienced before! After the GTL race I felt like I was on fire. Black leathers don't help much.
We had an outside temp reading of 111F on my trucks thermometer.

Heat was way to hot,  the storm that came threw Sunday was unbelievable. Talk about mother of wind and rain.

Yea, guy across from me on Saturday got 102 under his canopy.

As bad as it was, thank God we had a breeze. I've been there without one, and it's MUCH worse. I did a track day two weeks ago and the official temperature was 101 with NO breeze in the afternoon.

Fortunately, I did some bike training in the heat before the weekend, knowing i had a GTU to run. That, and the gallon a H20 I drank helped a lot. Gotta get that water in you the day before.

I did miss the Sunday storm. That sounded pretty bad.

For me i didnt notice it was that hot.I like hot weather.Maybe cause i'm outside everyday cutting grass 25-30 yards a day and it is normal to me.The good thing was that i went 1 sec faster a lap on my sv than the last time i was there.
