yeah I would think so,  I had trouble getting in my driveway with a VERY mild pitch in less than 2" of snow with the OEM tires... I think they were potenza's.

the VDC is cool but the traction control is a little "abrupt"... I left it off most of the time. you can break the rear end loose through 3 gears... allegedly they "drift' well, thats like stunnin for cars!

We had Potenzas on the Mx6 when we first got it. The first thing to come off the car. Crap ass tires. I have a set of Kumhos on there right now for warm/rain and the aforementioned Blizzaks for the winter. I'm eyeing up some sweet looking Sumitomos for the summer. Just need to do a little more research on 'em.

Can I give you a shout if we find a Z we're interested in?

That is a beautiful machine.
I'm banged up from racing the bike, so bought a 1995 Corvette, just did my first autocross this past Sat.
Great fun and leading the class points!
The ribs, shoulder and elbow ache, but not as bad as on the old bike.
Any plans to compete with it?

might do some autocross, I plan on a few trackdays a year with it.

Should be a hoot at both a road course and a parking lot  :thumb:

My buddy AC'd his G8, said he didnt like the whole "gotta work all day to run for 5 mins" thing about it... is that standard?

I like the way they ran the event, Corvettes in their own different classes, year, mods etc, all others in the open class.
The course was where police, troopers, fire fighters etc. do their training, straights, plenty of esses, slow and faster corners, the only cones used were blocking sections off.
I didn't pay attention to the length, probably a little over a  mile, my best laps were 1.01's.
Do a lap and pull in, waited about 20 minutes until everyone ran, then you ran again.

10 runs were available that day and it was enough for me, 4 tires at a time $$$$ etc.
Then enjoyed the drive home.
It was a blast, but hard on the equipment.
