so  there seems to be a need for a concerted effort to fix the safety issues at pbir especilly since we race there 80% of the season. we are allways going to have bad incidences but we seem tohave a lot them there and are lucky that no one has been lost there yet.

gald to see your doing better brad that was a nasty crash in an odd place.it looks like we would almost have to air fence the whole track since it's only speculation on were to put it .  with limited amount of fence, installing it has been more reactive than proactive.  you could make the case that only a few guys have hit the wall but if you count all the ones that almost hit it   we may have to rethink riding there. i've never asked but how much does the fence cost ? i'm sure it's not cheap . maybe there needs to be a little added to the entry or the gate fee to help with this.instead of a few guys carrying the load. or sell advertising on it ? i don't mind 5 bucks a race or entry for a year if it's going to a good cause especilly since we all might need it.

I also think we spend too much time at PBIR to not have more safety. BTW, besides the am/ex. collision last weekend, there was someone else that hit a wall in the Am. GTU race. I believe he lowsided. Eitherway, it was an average  crash, not some odd collision in an odd place, and he hit the wall and had to ride the ambulance out I believe. I don't know that 100% but it is what I heard from the crash truck driver (I had a small fall in that race also). He hit the wall around T7.

I would agree PBIR needs to get more air fence up in certain turns, we're getting too close to the wall and I'm only a mid-pack AM...with the number of CCS events there, I would hope something is done...

of course i was cripped on the "safe track" jennings but high sides are not usually the fault of the track. since i'm just spectating right now . you guys are a better judge of it's safety. everyone likes homestead but the walls spooked me there also .my guess is henry will install some chacaines like the old track to slow everyone down. i know they ran it the other directon before but that might be worse.

I think the purposely put down some bad super slippery asphalt where your tire started spinning and then they put some super sticky stuff right after. So your highside should be blamed on JGP.

I would try 2 cardboard boxes  put one  inside  the other  with 2-4 inches of space between them and spray foam a couple inches at a time and let cure(1 minute) then spray again until the void is filled and hard!
