when i was young i got to tour the constitution  my greatest memory of that is the fact that they painted the decks red ( of navy ships at the time ) so the men would not see the blood as well during battle . makes you think about what men had to do so we could have constitution day to bad that bunch in  washington can't understand this .      not what you were expecting    right

I retired after 21 years Naval Service off the USS Constitution on new years eve 1990.
Good times had buy all at the retirement party!!!
