So i have decided i might have to wait until the beginning of the 2010 season to make my debut. do i have to have a certain amount of races in 09 to renew my license for 2010? and can my 1st race be at daytona in feb? it would be extremely important for me to race my 1st race at daytona. a lot of sentimental value in racing there.

First race of the year in the Florida Region is Homestead usually the first weekend in February. Daytona tends to be more of a HP track.

For license renewal all you gotta do is send your money...and the paperwork too. No races needed.

[It's a life dream (that Daytona thing) for many RR folks. Although it is quite fast, you sound like a definate candidate! Go for it! Liked your site! Good Luck!

Same thing. Send the renewal form in with license fees in (if you already got a license for 09). If you just have the school certificate so far, you probably will be able to get your licenses at the track (they do this at Blackhawk, dunno about Daytona).
