My god, is it really that hard to keep things safe?  It's this same kind of ethic that led to the Challenger and Columbia Shuttle disasters, and very disconcerting.  Complacence and a sense of "it wasn't my fault" on the part of AMA Pro Racing.  Get your acts together, people!

By the same accord, Mat shouldn't be on the sidelines saying that someone should do something.  HE AND THE OTHER RIDERS NEED TO BE THE ONES WHO SPEAK UP!

:wtf:

Anyhoo, I think it's pretty interesting how in WSB and MotoGP that there is always an abundance of cornerworkers there.  When Haga crashed at Donington, they had him and the bike policed up in no time.  I think there were at least 8 guys out there cleaning it up so the race wouldn't have to be stopped.

that was my two cents.

was sleeping through a supercross race a while ago and one of the riders come of his bike and over the haybales in the middle of the track and almost hit a boat and trailer parked between the 2 straghtaways and the announers didn't say a word I assume it was part of the prize or advertizing but he would have been dead so ama is not the only one. we can bitch all we want about our promotor here in fla but he always makes a fast lap in leathers in the morning before things get started to check on the track.

But that's just it--  what does Mat have to lose?  He's an established veteran.  He likely has plenty of dough, and is probably already putting the finishing touches on the Mat Mladin Roadracing School for his retirement.

By speaking up and making a stand, it's DMG and Edmundson that should be afraid!
