Ok after some discussions with the track we have an agreement that if you want to camp saturday night you can do that.  Tents will be tough as you can only camp in the paddock and no stakes can be put down.  So staying in your trailer/camper seems to be the way to go.  They will have a gaurd on duty all night roaming the paddock.  The cost will be $10 to stay overnight.  You'll have to purchase your camping pass from Registration.  If you need to stay overnight on friday we have permission for people to park on the canal road on the north end of the track.  There are no facilities though so be prepared.
Sorry for the late notice but we're working the best we can with the track.

Thanks!

Is that $10 per person or per "tent"?

Will the gatel be open so we can go in and out, like go out for dinner saturday night and not have to worry about being locked out at 10pm?

FYI, I just booked two nights at the Sheraton Four Points Hotel in Fairview Heights for $35 a night via Priceline roulette.  No assurances you can get the same deal, but might be worth looking in to.
