All vinyl, no paint.  Props to Russ Voigt at Flipside Graphics for designing and applying the vinyl and making my life easy.  :)

LOL, will do.  I am very pleased with the job Russ is doing for the team.  Hard to believe that is all vinyl, no paint at all.

Ron,   That looks incredible! How will the vinyl hold up to racing, crashing, etc... ?

That looks awesome. How is the cost compared to paint? Do you just send them the pieces and they apply everything? I got a nice paint job this year but after two weekends it's chipped bad, thinking this might be a better way to go.

Kevin Hansen of the Safety First Racing AMA team used them and said they held the fiberglass together pretty well in a crash, much like the way a car windshield works in that it is "shatter-proof".  Repairs are easy as well, just put another piece vinyl over the scraped up section.

I think it is price about the same as paint, with a base cost of about $500.  The amount of labor required in the design is what would make the cost vary.   I just called Woodcraft and had them drop ship some Armour Bodies plastics to Russ at Flipside and he wrapped them up for me and then we mounted them.  Pretty easy, really.  So far, they are wearing really well and are easy to keep clean with some Honda polish.

I'll have to come check them out after a couple weekends and see how they hold up, they sure look great.
