Well, I called the track last week, and they told me $80 for Friday. (Must be $75 for practice, $5 for gate? Is that right?)

Anyway, if I camp out Friday night, when do I pay CCS the gate fee? Do I have to go across track in the morning, and get a band from the gate people, or do I pay at registration? I heard something that they kick everyone out Friday night, but I doubt that's been the case?

You're pretty much spot on.  You'll be able to pay your whole weekend fee on Friday AM.

I've never heard of them kicking anyone one out on a Friday night. Basically if you pay your track entrance fee, you get to stay.

Around 7:00 on Friday mornings, anyone who spent the night at the track on Thursday is "shagged" out to the front gate so that all the appropriate gate fees are collected.
