With the many changes DMG imposed on the rules, including giving only weeks to prepare bikes prior to the 31 day pre entry deadline, Team Motocorse is not able to participate as some forms were sent a few days late. Soooo many forms.. so little time.
Anyway. I have the AMA licence, and was one of the faster 90hp class riders setting the pole time for that class at the 8 hour race. We finished a very close 2nd in both the March 3 hr and Oct. 8 hour race. Not a big crasher, know my way around DIS pretty well, and even learned GP shift on the Bimota  Endurance racing is fun, and would be cool to do this event! (on someone elses bike)  8)

If I had a team, you would be the choice.

We could call it "Formula40 in MotoGT"..! wait, that doesn't even ryme.

Someone posted in the "other" forum that even Jimmy Felice was not let in the race as his ap was late. Man o' man. A historic figure on a championship contending team 2 years running, to not even able to ride in the race.

how do you finish near 2nd?

Jimmys name is on the entry list sheet so i would say he is in for moto gt 2

you should buy james gang buell and start youyr own team thats a good bike for that
i see some teams have the same riders as other teams so i see that becoming a problem since they are 2 rider teams so when the bigger team dont want the rider to ride for the other team there will be openings

check the entry list and contact some of those teams maybe they can hook you up
or if your there and have nothing betterto do i might need some help wit hpit stops  :thumb:

As of Tuesday  Jimmy is not riding with Pair O Nines.
Things might change, but he called another team looking for a ride.
DMG would not allow that bike to enter, as it was past the deadline.

"close 2nd" ..lol..near 1st place, we had a good shot at the win in both Daytona races. Woulda coulda shoulda. In the 8 hour, Trouble with the trick quickshifter brought me into the pits unsheduled 2 times, then the breather tube came off with 15minutes to go.

Real bummer that Jimmy wont be riding.
Im sure Paul James and the James gang will be kickin butt n' takin names. Buell, they do sound cool..

When I entered the inaugural 8hr. at Daytona, we really needed a 3rd. rider, I thought about asking you and wish I would have.
Whatever team you ride with, they'll be very fortunate to have you.
{I was hoping to see you in the 200}
Good luck.

THanks Henry. Not sure im up for riding with the big boys, or to be on a 600 for that long, Riding the Bimota DB5 or an SV650 or 1k is a pleasure for long stints. Seems like there is a bit more time from corner to corner to rest..lol.. Riding the 600 fast (at least as fast as i can go) takes more out of me than the other bike. Hope to see ya out there soon.
