How do you guys feel the economy will affect turnout this year.

Hard to speculate accurately.

I think it will affect some more than others.  Others might decide to focus more on local club races rather than more travel.  I think there were times last year when grids were down too.  Grids deteriorated in 2001 also after being incredibly strong through around April 2001.

I'm sure as stated above it may affect travel. I, for one, will be sticking to the local track. I may venture to the Mid-Ohio race.
Kinda sucks cause I planned on more travel this year, but that's been put on hold. I guess the toy hauler will be used more for camping than racing this year. Hopefully it won't get any worse.

I'm not going to the 2 HPT dates,money one reason,another,first year in expert a championship will be really tough,just want to try and improve this year,but frankly if I had the extra cash,I would run the whole season,reguardless of outcome.
