Any of you use these or have used them? Any good?
I'm looking at the digital ones.

yep I used them... DO NOT BUY THESE!!!!! My first set lasted 3 weeks, I talked the guy into exchanging them even though he only offers a 2 week warranty. the replacement set lasted about 4 weeks before the plugs on both warmers went out.  I had to hard wired them so they would work. That lasted about another month before they just quit working. At that point he would only offer me "a deal" on another set. :jerkoff: If you buy these you WILL be dissapointed. You get what you pay for

Actually i have a set of them i have used for 2 years.  We compared them side by side with chicken hawks and the ONLY difference we found was the Sumo Moto ones didn't have the chicken hawk label sowed on.  Honest to God that is the only difference we found in mine and the chicken hawks.  Mine are 2 years old and still going fine!  Guess i must have got a good set!

mine were nothing like chickenhawks.... not even close, totally different

Don't bother with these, I'm on my 3nd set and the front one failed on me at the last race at BHF. I've bought them from 2 different vendors and the quality of the electronics is absolute junk.

Helsman - what version of Sumo moto warmers did you compare with which of the Chicken Hawks? In my experience thus far they are NOTHING alike.

I have no idea, just picked them up on a group buy on a forum.  As for the CH's i don't know that either, they are a few years old, non digital, and only one temp.  They even fit the same..both of them are a little tight going over a michilene PRC

The recent pole-position or pro-line CHs are nothing like the Sumo Motos, I'm very sure of that.

Initially the Sumo Motos I received lasted 1 track day, but where replaced for free by the manufacture and those lasted 1 full year. After those stopped heating, I ordered a new set, and those failed after about 6 track/race days. It seems to me they're a big hit or miss, and at a cost of $200+ why gamble? I could have bought a set of CH with the money I spent on the 2 orders and shipping to get fixed, etc...

Why take the risk? Had I not noticed that the rear tire's digital readout was BS I would have gone on the track with cold tires, thinking that they're already fairly warm. Why take that risk during a race day? Never again...

I ran the same Sumo Moto warmers as Helmsman for two years and never had an issue. It was my group buy that he got them from and out of the 25 sets sold, none have had any problems at all. Single temp, non-adjustable.
