Dear "CCS Family"
First I want to apologize for taking so long to thank all of you who contributed to the collection for me in Greg Holman's honor. I cannot tell you how touched I was to receive this (just ask Rocco). The racing world is truly is a family. I wanted to send you a picture of what I spent the money on and the meaning/story behind it.  Since we purchased this house 5 years ago we always talked about planting some trees/shrubs along the back to block the view directly into our house from our neighbor behind us.  The last thing that
Greg and I did together the day before he passed was to finally meet with a landscaper to pick out the trees that we wanted to have planted. We were both so excited to finally be getting our trees. After the accident I didn't think it would be a good idea to spend money on something like that. When Rocco gave me the card, I knew immediately what I would do with the money. Greg was so excited to get those trees and now in his memory I have those trees as a constant reminder
of my best friend.
I am doing as well as can be expected but I miss him terribly. To know that all of you miss him too helps a lot. I know it won't be the same to come to the races and not be racing with Greg but I do plan on coming and helping who ever needs help and just being with the race "family".

Thank you all for your kind words and support.
See you at the track

Most sincerely,
Dana Rennie

I don't think you could have done anything better with the money.
I am very sorry for your loss.
Just because you have something to say
Doesn't always mean you "SHOULD" say it

I should have started out with the post that this is the email I received from Dana. I'm also purchasing Greg's bike to run next year. He was a good friend.

Godspeed Greg. Too many lost racers in this unforgiving sport. Best wishes to Dana and the family
