I retired  from roadracing in August. I was wondering if I can come back as an amatuer next year and if I do, is stock suspension ok to start out on?

You should still be competitive in Formula 65.

Correction: make that LW Formula 65.

If you just retired in August and are starting back next season....well that is a long time off you are for sure going to want stock suspension. That is a full one month longer than the rest of us will be off for the winter break which means you should stay am.

Well, if it was the middle of August, then that changes everything.
You might be better off by sticking to mock races with some track day org or something.
That way you've got he built-in excuse that "Its only a track-day" for whenever you need a pick-me-up

Problem solved.
You're welcome

But it was the middle of August.
Yeah, but you have to have your waiver for your combined rider/bike weight so that you can have blue plates.
