What about Brained.... With a new owner (as of last year) and two track configurations, the original "long track" and a the new "short track"...  Maybe even a little cooperation with the CRA.

Sure, get a CRA license.  I think I went there twice last year.  But that's not closer for Don.  BeaveRun might be closer then.

If you haven't been to VIR, it IS worth the trip.

Not sure where you're located but it sounds like Gateway would not involve driving thru Chicago traffic for you.
