You see, what will happen here is probably something like this...

The lap times I believe are made available as a courtesy. CCS when they have the time, staff, and inclination will make them available. Riders such as yourself come to like having them and then complain when they aren't promptly provided. CCS may now choose not to provide them at all to save themselves this hassle. Now how far have we come. That is the problem...do something nice from time to time and then catch grief as soon as you aren't "up to standards". So the easy thing to do is to lessen the expectation to keep everyone happy and save some grief. If you think Kevin and Eric have nothing better to do than post lap times you have a lot to learn. Most of us would rather they make sure our contingency paperwork is processed and that our next event is being prepared.

Who knows...maybe they will make them available all the time...and raise entry fees to cover the added staff expense of keeping up with your expectations. Cheaper to buy a lap timer bud....

We did have issues with the scoring loop beginning Saturday. By Sunday race time we had replaced every component of the scoring loop, and wiring. With the frazzled nature of having to keep insuring we were getting accurate electronic results the files were not saved for a few races. So what is posted is what we have.

In regard to the Summit July laptimes, we are not hiding the laptimes on our personal computers they are on the scoring computer that is only accessed on race weekends. The disk with the information was corrupted or lost (I am not sure for this event as we have had couple of issues this year with lap times). When we have access to that machine again (Summit in Sept) we will be getting the information off of it.

Thanks for running a great series Eric.

The only problem I see here is that this is exactly what you told me last month, except that you were waiting for the Barber round to get the file from the scoring computer.  Now its the Summit round.

Would it be ok to ask for this in person @ the Summit round?

I beleive it was a different computer used at Barber or it was an oversight in downloading those times, not sure.

At Summit it WILL be the same computer and we can get the times there.

Come up to scoring on Friday and we can get them for you and it will jog our memory, if we should forget to download the file and post it.

Thanks again for taking time to deal with this Eric.  I know how busy you all are this time of year, and as such I appreciate the fact that you took time to respond to this.

Cheers-
