What springs do you have in the front of your CBR600F4i?

I have the ohlins internals in the front. I know they are correct for my weight and a suspension guy helped with the setting for them
BeforeI had left for the session one of my firends noticed and mentioned that my tires would not make it through the day. In hindsight  and a broken rib, I wish I woudl have taken the time to just replace them. I never done a Friday practice beffore and got there jsut as the lunch break was ending. I was in hurry hury mode.
Plus I was trying to go faster and did not want to be in anyones way. I sould have just waited for the 2nd session.
I'm thinking it was that along with I was too hot and deep into 3 and tried to cut it to make the corner.
Leaned too much, bad body position and bad tires, I think that's was may have happened.
Do you have any good tips to offer on when to change tires. I know each person and brand differ to when they need to be replaced.
I'm looking for some general guidlines since I'm not that good at reading tire wear.

Hard for me to give good answers for a lot of things outside of seeing it during my school days.  Tire?  Well, how old are they?  You can't buy insurance, but you can buy tires.  Fresher's faster, period.

Experience allows a rider to do more work on a used tire, but that also comes with the knowledge that you can't go as fast on them.

Thanks for the help!

I'm a rookie and next time, when in doubt...New tires!
