After this past weekend at summit point I had to find if these track conditions (pot holes, cracks, itc.) is what we racers have to deal with. I as a racer think that if this is what we have to deal with we should just ride on the street. That being said, I had enough, so come Monday I drove 30 min from my house  to millville motorsports park and had one of the managers give me a ride around the track. They had no problem showing me the track,we rode around in one of the track official pick up, the only "problem" that I saw was they were actually working on the track at the end of the day, OMG (hint hint hint Summit Point) these people mean business.
The track is BEAUTIFULL, the paddock is 5 times the size of summit and the run of is unreal. If i was involved in a race club, that is the kind of race track I would like to be associated with, so please if you guys are listening it would be awesome if we raced, rode, held an event, or something there. Hope to see yall at the track.

I'm doing a track day there to check it out end of the month.  I might try and do a movie of the track.

How much is a daily rental or a membership?

I've heard there are troubling concerns with regards to the general lack of run-off - especially in a couple of the faster corners
That said, I haven't been there and would love to see it for myself before coming to my own conclusion

There appears to be a problem with the lack of run off, but evidently some higher-ups in national/international race orgs are being consulted this week about that specific issue.  A friend of the owners says the track is serious about having AMA/DMG and WSBK events there, and they are pretty pissed about club organizations spreading the word that the place is too expensive.

Well, how much is the daily rental?  It is what it is, really.

I don't know what the per day is, but the per weekend rate (3 days) is $45k-ish.  At least that is what the dude told me last week.

Let's see, $45,000 divided by an average of $50 an entry, that's 900 entries, insurance, staff additional costs...

Yeah, where's KE...everyone should really recognize what it takes to rent a race track.  Insurance is a huge cost to that has really gone up and up. 

Really, entry fees have remained pretty reasonable over the years.  Yeah, they are more, but other things are up even more.
