Trailer Registration

Each month I keep adding things to my racing bag. Last week was a trailer purchase. Its just a small one bike trailer that I bought for 250 online at Harbor Freight tools.  My question is in order to get license plates for the trailer do I need to have insurance on it? I called my insurance people and they said they don't insure trailers.

I just got my trailer tags and registration done last week. If you have a tag office around, bring the bill of sale and your drivers license and they'll be able to give you a tag and registration at the same time. I think it cost me $39. I'm in Daytona with a tag office right down the road.

No title required for smaller trailers like ours.
