AMA Chaplain's Take on DMG/MIC Rift

Kudos to their Chaplain, very eloquent letter.  I wonder which organization would be the first to say "Don't kill it!!!"???  My thought is currently the MIC would be the first, but I think mostly because they are at a large disadvantage logistically speaking. 

I'm also wondering where the AMA fits in all of this???  Shouldn't they feel some responsibility to ensuring the credibility / consistency / validity (not the words I'm looking for but the one I want to use is escaping me right now) in the series post-sale???
