So are those kick ass Michelins being sold at tracks yet?  I can't race till July, so I was wondering if anyone has tried them (assuming they're out).

The "NEW" Michelin tires (total new design) are not yet out..word now is late this season or beginning of 09. As HST indicated, the "improved" pr3 is now the "D" and "E" tires. Still limited availability on these, and from what i have experienced and verified with riders like Brian Stokes, you do need over 80degF to make em work. THey are DUAL compound tires.. Soft on the edges and harder in the middle. The D has wider soft edge, the E has less soft edge. The D and E are available in 190 tires for the big bikes as well. The C front is now improved too working better in the warmer temps than before.
btw. Michelin has a GREAT contingency program. Payment is often on my card less than 1 week from the race weekend.

Thanks for the update guys... I don't think I'll have to worry about contingency, but yes on the times I did get it, Michelin was VERY quick to get the money on the card.
