Free Action Pics from CMP

A couple of my buddies came out and was able to get on the track Sunday to take pics of all the races Sunday.  They took roughly 1200 pics for the weekend.  Most of the pic's taken were from turn 11 however a couple were taken at turn 10 and the ones on Saturday were taken from pit in and turns one and three area.  If you would like to find out if Pete has a photo of you, read the below contact information and what he requests to find your photo.

Just have them send me their number, what races they ran ( I have the schedule and kinda know where they are in the grand scheme of the picture numbers), and a description of their leathers/bike and I will be more then happy to e-mail the pictures to them.  You can contact Pete at: mooseload@bellsouth.net

  Hey folks!
The response so far has been outstanding!  I am working on sorting and e-mailing the pictures to everyone, so please be patient with me...I have about 1300 pics to sort through (I'm the only one working on it...).  In the next day or so I am looking to try a different approach by putting all of the pictures on a server (Kodak gallery or similar) so everyone who has sent me an e-mail can access the pictures and download whatever you like.  My main concerns are to be able to get them served up so you can download the full resolution pictures (they are huge...4MB each!) so you can enlarge them even more if you like and they will look awesome AND to do it on a service that doesn't charge....I think I have it figured out, so hopefully you all will have access to them in a day or so.
  I am planning on hitting a few more races on the east coast this year, and I will be sure to let you guys know when I will be around.  As these are, all pictures I take I will post up for all of you so you can get some good shots and not have to pay the crazy money the track photographers charge....ypu spend enough money getting out there to race and shouldn't have to pay for YOUR memories...my payment is simply the chance to be around the races and hear the comments on the pictures.

If you cull them a bit, they would fit on a single layer DVD-/+R, or easily on a dual-layer disc without culling.  Maybe you could offer to send out the DVD's for a fee to cover the media, shipping, etc, or you could create a torrent so that people could download the set through a bit torrent client, or FTP, or some such.  I'd be glad to help if you need it.  Either way, you would be removed from the process of sorting them out - I for one wouldn't mind doing the sorting work for the ones in which I'm interested, since you did all the work taking them and are offering them in the public domain.

  Alrighty folks...here is the scoop.  I purchased a flickr pro account, which gives me unlimited file uploads and the ability to share them to you folks so you can download/comment on them.  You will not be able to download the full high res pictures unless you get a pro account, but you can browse, download the 1024 x (whatever it comes out to ) versions of all the photos, and if you are interested, you can simply send me an e-mail with the file names and I will be more then happy e-mail you the origionals....just realize that the files are rather big  :-)  As soon as I finish uploading the images/get it all squared away I will post the link and information on how to access it.  I hope to have it all squared away this weekend (my bike is in the shop, so not much else to do other then work and get this done :-(  ).  I will send everyone who has e-mailed me this information as well as posting it here....
