Used Laptop wanted

Anybody upgrade their laptop recently and have one they no longer need?

Mine won't charge the battery anymore and I don't want to put any more money into it. (Last time I had it worked on they said they couldn't guarantee how long it would charge and it was getting harder to find parts.)

Not looking for anything real exotic, but it would be nice if it had a DVD burner.  Price range I'm looking at would be under $400.  I've found new Toshiba or Compaq's with a DVD burner in the $450-500 range.

I need to do something before the end of February.

Rick, I know it's a few bucks more than you have in the budget, but here's a smoking laptop that was $1100 1 year ago, and should last another good few years:

I will have a Dell Latitude D600 for sale in about a week, once my new one gets here. I was going to be asking around $400 for it.
