Does any one know if  MotoSport.com will be offering anything close to LP Team Privateer as sponsorship goes? If so it will be interesting, LP has some great stuff for us that could get better with competition.  Any insight?

Thanks,
Tom

I thought so also. I hope they step up to the plate with real racer support style deep discounts ala LP Team Privateer not just Rider discounts like kneedraggers.

OK, Just talked to them on the phone. Basically they have no blanket or tiered program in place like LP but they ARE taking race resumes and determining an appropriate level of support (if any) based on individual performance. According to them they have no set CCS individual racer support in place yet.

I ordered a full check/back protector from them and asked about racer discount - was told between 10-20% (confidentiality agreement prevents me from revealing all of the cookies)

I wouldn't think they would offer a deal like LP, LP is a distributor and Motosports is a retailer.  They pay similar prices as we do to LP, if they are buying volume they may receive additional discounts.

I agree track side is the way to go at the races (if there good and treat me right) and my local shop is who Ill buy service from.  In the off season purchases on-line Ill buy from who ever sees fit to through support my way, LP as of now. Customer service is generally a deciding factor for me over price for over the counter sales. A good example is the Q man selling tires track side he is the best not because of his prices but because of his knowledgeable friendly service. I Don't ever want to be accused of not supporting those that support us. Being a Small business owner myself I rarely shop the big corporate guys, that being said, occasionally I have to in a crunch. Through my business I am set up with a many of the manufacturers of products that I use, CRG for example but I never bring that stuff to sell because I respect the guy making a living doing it at the track. I will say that it is not my job as a consumer to GIVE my business to anyone but rather the sellers responsibility to do a good enough job to win my patronage.
