Closed.

I can't believe it closed in an hour, The ride I used to do in this area quit after 15 years because they could only get 43 riders in 2000.

I'll be sending in the lottery form to see if I can get in the 100K.

Filled in about an hour, I was surprised. I signed up at about 9:30.

Let me know how things go with the lottery.

I will let you know when the date for the Kenosha-Racine bike club ride is picked - the ride we did last spring - 100 miles this time :)

I didn't get home from work until 3:30 (yes that's AM), didn't think they were going to fill 1000 spots that quickly.

In all honesty I have a conflict but IF  I can win the lottery I can work around. AHRMA is at RA that weekend but I could do the AHRMA practice Friday and the ride Saturday and maybe a race or 2 Sunday. I only want to do the AHRMA day as a warm up for CCS at RA in July, I've never been on RA.

Depending on whether or not I get the lottery I might even volunteer for a rest stop or something so that I get a guaranteed spot next year.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "WOOOHOOO! What a freaken ride"

I am not sure how they will know who is part of the ride and who is not. Not sure what would prevent you from going on the ride.

Usually wrist bands, jersey numbers or bike numbers. I don't think they can stop you from riding on public roads but they won't want to serve you at the rest stops. Go to the website and there is a form to print for a lottery where they will pick another 300 riders. The form must be postmarked BETWEEN Jan 26 and Feb 2.
