Well some tool scratched the crap out of the front windshield on my truck when I shipped it. So I submitted a claim with an estimate of the repair. The windshield cost $364 bucks to replace and wouldn't ya know it, I just checked my bank account and I am $364 heavy. Looks like it is time for that two brothers exhaust on the new bike. I already had the window fixed so I might as well put the money to good use. I'm just surprised the Army gave me the full amount. Normally they prorate it. I was expecting to get like 6 bucks.

The army doesn't ship anything.  They had a private carrier do it (at the lowest bid), and they have the insurance.  The private carrier is who paid.  The military may have brokered the transaction, but they didn't lose money on it or pay out of any govt fund.  It was the carrier's insurance or their pocket that it came out of...

In either event, glad you got it fixed and your $$$..

Here's a hot tip though, if you're in the barracks or base housing, GET RENTER'S INSURANCE... That is one area that the military will totally dick you over.  You may THINK you're covered, but you're not...
