2008 Buell Contingency Program Announced

The 2008 Buell Contingency Program has been announced, with $1.2 million in cash contingencies up for grabs. Buell pays at every CCS weekend for riders of 2003 and newer XB models plus the XBRR and new liquid-cooled 1125R.

CHAMPIONSHIP CUP SERIES
Class: Heavyweight Superbike Expert (1125R, XBRR)
Contingency: $1,500 per event. 1st=$500; 2nd=$400; 3rd=$300; 4th=$200; 5th=$100

Class: SuperTwins Expert (1125R, XBRR, XB9-12)
Contingency: $1,500 per event. 1st=$500; 2nd=$400; 3rd=$300; 4th=$200; 5th=$100

Class: Thunderbike Expert (XB9-12)
Contingency: $1,500 per event. 1st=$500; 2nd=$400; 3rd=$300; 4th=$200; 5th=$100

Class: SuperTwins Amateur (1125R, XBRR, XB9-12)
Contingency: $725 per event. 1st=$300; 2nd=$200; 3rd=$100; 4th=$75; 5th=$50

Class: Thunderbike Amateur (XB9-12)
Contingency: $725 per event. 1st-$300, 2nd- $200, 3rd $100, 4th-$75 5th -$50

AMERICAN SPORTBIKE RACING ASSOCIATION
Class: ASRA Pro Superstock (1125R)
Contingency: $7,100 per event. 1st=$3,000; 2nd=$2,000; 3rd=$1,000; 4th=$700; 5th=$400

Class: ASRA Pro Superbike (XBRR, XB9-12)
Contingency: $7,100 per event. 1st=$3,000; 2nd= $2,000;, 3rd=1,000; 4th=$700; 5th=$400

Class: ASRA Pro Thunderbike (XB9-12)
Contingency: $10,000 per event. 1st=$2,000; 2nd= $1,500; 3rd=1,200; 4th=$1,000; 5th=$800; 6th=$700; 7th=600; 8th=$450; 9th=$400; 10th=$350; 11th=$300; 12th=$250; 13th=$200; 14th=$150; 15th=$100
Championship Awards: 1st=$3,000; 2nd= $1,250;, 3rd=1,000; 4th=$750; 5th=$500

Once again Buell steps up for its customers.

Added HWSB for the 1125R
Added Amateur Supertwins so Amateurs have two classes that pay.
Still paying out on 2003 and up models...

PJ721, I haven't seen the Miami coverage yet, but I thought the Daytona 300 was pretty good. I agree it was strange they didn't give the starting line up or final results. But I'm sure they're learning as they go, just like us.

Wow. That is impressive. I race a Duc, but this sort of contingency explains the grids of Buells.  Excellent program.
