I'm back!!!!!!!!!! (well kinda)

Had a blast riding!  I just had surgery to remove the Exfix from my leg last Thursday. After a long (almost) year and a half of recovery time and thru 9 surgeries It felt FANTASTIC to ride/race this weekend. I was at Mid America this weekend.  So in between the rain I was able to get some laps in.  Got about 6-7 laps of practice in didn't even have time to change my tires for the race before they called 1st call...I went out in MWSS totally took it easy, I started dead last on the grid.  Worked myself up to 9th not too bad...did some decent laps times considering how green the track was, crappy the conditions were, and my lack of track time.  I didn't even ride on Sunday with the crappy weather...
My leg was a bit *tender* I was having a harder time turning to the left then the right but at least I was able to get back on the bike...But all in all things are good...It was well worth the 8hr drive just so I could get back on the bike.  I'm just really out of shape after a hiatus like that but I'll do some more testing this off-season and I'll be Ready for Daytona in March!!!!  Thanks to all my friends/sponsors who stood by me with all the support and help!!!!  I'm back and can't wait for next year CUZ it's on...

Glad to see hear that you are getting healthier.  Even though I've hung up my racing leathers these days, I was wondering/hoping you were good.
