Good luck getting anything out of them.Their stipulations on who you buy from blah blah blah is so assinine that I'm suprised that anyone collects anything.

what region are you in? unfortunatelly the vp system is very slow. also don't forget it is only one payout per race weekend and you must purchase 10 gallons from the trackside vendor. I handle Summit and VIR, and did the first round at CMP which is the only one that has been paid so far.

So I must purchase 10 gallons from the trackside vendor each race, and I am only eligable for one payout per weekend?

So, Spend $150 per weekend with us, and you could earn $25 if you win?

Earn $25 if you win finish 5th or finish 10th. It is all explained clearly here

It is not the best program in the world, unfortunately the payouts are very slow due to the process, but it pays more than Sunoco, power mist, nutec or any of the others which pay exactly zero. By requiring you to buy from the trackside vendor it is easier for VP to confirm that you are actually using the fuel. If there is no trackside vendor and you have your receipts as proof that you purchased 10 gallons before the weekend you can call the VP headquarters in Texas and they may be able to assist you. For Summit and VIR I am the trackside vendor . I sell my fuel at very competetive prices, probably the lowest around and I submit a list to VP after every race weekend.

DB, you would have had to have bought (and probably did) from Lithium as they are the authorized VP dealer for the region.

Good luck on collecting, after a lot of follow up I got a small check (that didn't cover everything) in February of 2006 for contingency won during 2005.  I have yet to receive anything for 2006 let alone 2007, they post contingency - they just don't pay it  :finger:

Well, Since speech is free but gas is not...  I will use some of my speech contingencies to state another fact I have learned this year...

Pirelli, Vortex, and Vesrah are the only companies that are worth listing in your sponsor sheets....  nobody else has paid anything worth having

yo Dustin. Great racing with you this season. Thank you. I'll shoot the shit with you at the banquet if you attend but hey.
I have only gotten contingency from Michelin this season mostly due to me not running in classes that my other sponsors pay part in but I wanted to say thanks for posting up your immediate findings with VP

I love the fuel and it's the most widely used that I've seen so I was just recently thinking of imploring on their product and contingency.

glad I read this thread because if I can do what I do with just 87 octane and pretty much a stock 600 I'll just stick with it rather than spend more money on yet another custom map.

Next season I'll be trying out the Pirelli thing but for now. Thanks for the thread and thanks for the replies guys.

Hey Jim, Great running with you too....  I may be at the banquet, except for the fact that I hear to be prepared for even another charge of $50 to attend and get your trophies....  Not to keen on that either,,,  We will see.

VP is good stuff, but dont tell me you are a sponsor if you are going to pull this crap.  Just say "Hi, we are VP.  Our product is great and we dont care what you think about contingency.  Screw you guys..  Run our gas or lose."  Or some jazz like that.  Dont blow smoke...
