I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you.  Thanks for everyone in the Mid-Atlantic Region and those from other regions who posted responses on here for your assistance, guidance, mentoring, taunting, joking and all around family atmosphere this season.  Even tho my season didn't start until July 7th with the MARRC RRS, I've learned a lot.  My times at Summit Main went from a fast lap of 1:27 to 1:23 and my average dropped a lil more than that.  Wouldn't have happened without help.

No particular order thank you's.

R-N-R Cycles: Rick, Rachael and Jason - You guys took me in and helped without knowing what I was or wasn't capable of and continued the support.  I got to chase Racheal and Jason and learn.  I can't wait till next season.

Darrel Prochel: From the RRS to racing you helped out more than you know.  Providing input and tips without hesitation.  Thank you

Tom and Chris: You guys were the first racers I met on the morning of the RRS/Trackday.  You guys made my first race weekend very easy and enjoyable.  Then whether you meant to or not, kept a spot open for this past weekend.  See ya'll out there next season...

Art: You definitely had it right when you talked about an addiction and needing the fix.  Racing in Europe never really felt like it does here.  Maybe it was because I was younger then.  Not sure. It was fun there, but outstanding here.

Everyone else that I might have forgotten, please don't take it as disrespect.  You are all THANKED for being family, new friends and great people to race with.

Good luck to all going to VIR and then ROC.  I'll have to read about it as I making a transition in my life and moving to western Pa.  See you all out there in 2008.  :wah:

How long did you race in Europe? How long ago?  Did you find it took you a little while to "Get up to speed" again? Or was it instant?

I raced for three years and then had almost six years down.  It took a little to get used to the speed again but confidence in the tires, suspension and knowing I knew what to do but had to find it again, helped.

Kumi, it was a blast and knowing that MARRC Cornerworkers were there made the transition back into it even more easier.  Thanks MARRC Cornerworkers...
