Supersport unlimited rules question

I'm going to be racing my 929 a few times this year in supersport unlimited amateur.  My question is, can I use my ram air mod?  I know I can in GTO and Grand Prix, but what about supersport?  It seems, looking at the rule book that I can't.  However, my air intakes are still stock, I'm just essentially attaching a hose to them allowing colder air to get in.  I didn't know if that would violate the rules or not...they seem kinda vague on this subject.  

IF they are not allowed, then is it ok to just remove them...but still have the holes in my fairing?  I can't patch up the holes, but I don't see why a few holes would be a violation of the rules.

According to the rules, any fairing may be used, stock airbox cannot be modified.

It seems your ram air system is legal for supersport (CCS).

My educated guess is Ram Air would be not legal, I would run this by CCS...

However, the holes in the fairing would be legal, for sure.

Well, the holes in the fairing sounds good.  That means I can simply attach the tubes for GP and GTO.  Not that it'll make much difference since I'm a newbie...but every little bit helps :p  

I've emailed CCS to find out a good answer.  Thanx for the help guys.

remember they only check your bike if you finish top 3 in SS, unless someone protests about you.

I would guess, based on the rules, that your mod is legal for CCS, essentially your are not modifying the airbox, you are modifying the fairing to channel air better.

It is not truly "ram air, you are just trying to fill the air box with cool air from the front. Although if you are running behind someone, you will be getting his exhaust air ;D
