5 hour endurance at Hastings

A while back Track Addix had mentioned a 5 hour endurance at Hastings on Labor Day.  Anything ever materialize?

I personally think it's a great idea, but the schematics of riding someone else's bike, how to compensate them and what happens if you go down is a bit much to overcome for most people.  I think the best idea was a relay type race where you come in on your bike, then I go out on mine.  Not really a true endurance race, but would probably have a higher turn-out.

I was curious myself... what is the official word?  We'll have to ask Dean at Hallett
