We are coming down on vacation. Three boys (ages 2,9,9) one wife and me. We have ticket for the Cards and Cubs game on the 26 and tickets for Six Flags. We will be in town from July 22-26 and staying out by where 270and 40 meet I think. We also plan to hit the Zoo and Grants farm. Is there any other fun things that I should look into? Places to eat, ect. Thanks

If you're looking for good steak, Citizen Kanes in Kirkwood rocks!

Also, there is a place called Woody's off of 270 and Gravois I think that is very similar to Chuck E Cheese's, but not as uh... cheesy.  I haven't taken my son there, but I hear it's pretty cool.

You can also take your kids on the brewery tour at AB.  Unfortunatly, I think the bottling line is shut down to the tour right now, but it still would be ok to kill a couple of hours.

Also, the bowling hall of fame is right across from Busch Stadium.

If you want a kick ass BLT and one of the best milkshakes around, you can go to Crown Candy, just NW of downtown.  Not in the best area of town, but man it's good eating.

There is also the Magic House in Kirkwood.  It's a great place for kids to learn stuff and have a good time.  Kinda expensive for the adults, but your kids could be in there for hours.  It's at the corner of Woodbine and Kirkwood Road.

city museum for sure!!!!  You will all have a blast there.  Actually I got married there in April.  If you like fried chicken, Hodaks is the place to go.  Theres a really good hole in the wall italian place right near 270 and 40 (actually its 40 and lindberg) called Grassi's west.  Excellet food and a good price.
