look out for the walls :banghead:

in heavy rain there is standing water at the apex of 3-4, the dip in 7 holds a decent amount of water and along the inside part of the last section of the long turn 8.  I've only ran in the rain there once and it was during a trackday.  Turn 3-4 I just tried to stay in the middle of the track on the top of the crown.   Turn 6 can catch you going a little too fast easily and you can tuck the front as it decreases.  At the dip in 7 I think the entire bike slid about 50% of the time I went through there, and 8 I just stayed off the standing water.  Thats about all I can remember.   :ahhh:

I went very fast there last time it rained at a trackday. the puddles we well placed to cool down rain tires even though it was very wet. i couldnt believe how much traction there was, nearly as much as barber in the rain. i had my knee down in at least half the corners and got into the sub 20 lap times on my sv. riding there in the rain is like riding in the dry, you just have to choose wisely where to take risks.

Lonnie michaels is the #1 rain guy, with Jeff Selbert hot on his heels.  Theyre both crazy fast in the wet.

I'll bring my rain tires along too. that'll make sure of it to be a dry race day. lol

Watch the standing water as noted above and pay EXTREME attention and care to T1.  If you fall tipping it in, you're gonna eat some air fence and your bike will become a part of the wall.

just an fyi, I don't think there any airfence in 1 :wtf:.  When I set up AF there before it was at the exit of 4, 7 and 8.  I didn't help set up last night because of work so I'm not sure about this time.  If they got extra for the races :thumb:

I think no matter what, you don't want to crash in T1... That to me is much scarier than the chicane leading onto the straight.
