seems like I should know this but my 16 year old daughter want's to race she has dirt bike experance but very little street experance (i don't own a street bike)although she has completed a street course.is there a basic track day newbie course out there on the eastern seaboard(were in fla) everything I read about seems too advanced or am I just being a father.

You can try cornerspeed.net.  We have taught all ages, from 9yrs to OOOOLLLLLLDDDDD!! LOL

There is nothing wrong with thinking that it is too advanced, but as long as she knows how to turn it on, shift and basic MSF stuff, then she is ready.  most GOOD schools will tune the school to each individual.  Some learn faster than others.  There is an all womens school in Aug (tenative) that you might consider.
