TOP 10 REASONS I DECIDED TO ACCEPT A RIDE BACK TO THE PITS

10. It would have been rude to turn it down.

9. I'm looking to become the first multi-time Potato Head.

8. A man my age running all the way back to the pits from turn 2 would have suffered a heart attack.

7. I've been so upset lately thinking about Paris Hiltons' incarceration I wasn't thinking clearly.

6. As I'm suffering from early onset Alzheimer's I may have gotten lost on foot.

5. There's nothing about 2-up in the CCS rulebook.

4. After pushing my incredibly heavy SV tens of yards I was lightheaded and there was sweat dripping into my eyes. I glanced up and thought I saw Lil Natey offering to make amends.

3. My left foot hurt.

2. I try to do something incredibly stupid at least once a week.

1. I have recently bumped my head.

I forgot to mention that Bill Fermann made Ed walk back to his bike to pick it up.  That kinda makes the worthiness of the whole ride seem questionable... well except for our entertainment at Ed's expense  :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Actually, I think Ed has a very good point about this one.  Isn't the structure of the CCS rules that if it doesn't say you can't then you can?

Yes, this is a valid point. However, I for one would not want to debate it one-on-one with Mr. Fehrman. I would HIGHLY recommend NOT being called to the tower to discuss such infractions with the Race Director, or to debate the two-up absence from the R&Rs, or the absence of a Gold Wing Class in order to run your 1800 Honda with your dog Fluffy in the tank bag!

(don't ask for your cabbie's license back at the end of the weekend either)
