heading up to the AMA round to help Rob and the Hall's.  Do pitbikes need to be "registered" for the AMA rounds?  it will be a "work vehicle" and used primarily in the paddock.  Anything I need to be ready for?  I had planned on just grabbing a buddies 50 and heading up there.

anything I'm missing?

thanks gang

according to their website only competitors can have non-liscensed vehicles.  I'm taking the bicycle to ride around.  When are you heading up?  I'll be there late friday night.

call them.  if it's used in the paddock it needs a pit vehicle pass.

Even bicycles are not allowed in the paddock during the AMA (well, they are, but you have to walk them)

doesnt seem there is a requirement.  I called twice today and forgot to confirm the "unliscensed" part.

I'll have a pit vehicle pass, just trying to make sure a lil CRF50 is ok and I dont need a liscense plate.

I think I'm ok, I asked if there where any restrictions on where pit vehicles could be used.  At barber to get to registration you had to have a liscensed vehicle, helmet etc... I think thats due to the "roads" used.  They said "you should be fine" so I assume I'm good.

Maybe I'll wait and call tomorrow... I hate being "that guy"  :banghead:
