Hey Ike, if you're still looking at the forum from time to time...

Hell of a race yesterday wasn't it!    Thanks for making it fun.
Sorry I couldn't get come out and play for the other two but I had a mechanical.  Catch you next time!

Could it be that you had a mechanical because you were riding a...... BUELL?   :ass:

I thought a Buell was a mechanical.  :spank:

No, it's because I had two whole boxes of bolts, parts, wires and what have you in the trailer from the SV but no stash at all for the Buell.  Says a lot, doesn't it?

This thing's been perfectly reliable in stock form...and it's made in the USA...and, unlike Suzuki, I got a nice check last year...and they pay all the way back to the '03 model...and it's more fun to ride...and it actually HAS a suspension...and it fits better...AND IT'S MADE IN THE USA...and those are just some of the reasons there are so many at the track these days...

Ah heck, just bring that old red SV if you still have it and I'll show ya.  You'll have to spend another 3 or 4 grand on the motor and suspension if you want to keep up though.

IF I can handle it I'll be riding the team challenge at RA in July. The SV is ready and willing but I'm still short 1 back and 1 wrist. I broke too many things last fall to go out in the sprints this summer so I'm going to see if I can get back on the track with some touring er, I mean, endurance stuff. less track density, less intensity.

I could actually see myself riding a Buell but for now the SV fits the budget better.

A little sensitive are we?????

Someday we'll be back.  I just don't know when, perhaps when the ol' SV qualifies for the vintage classes.  Until then we have the motorhome and dirtbikes.

you're making me jealous Ike!!  Glad you had a good time...  I'm looking forward to some future date as well. ugh.

And I'd insert some smart-ass comment on a buell here, but, well, the amount of support that the RFF is getting from Buell is incredible so I have nothing but good things to say!  Everybody should buy a Buell (or 4)!
