Hey there fellow racers!

I've never been to CMP.

Any ideas/thoughts on arriving at CMP and where we are allowed to camp and/or setup pit? Campground separate from the paddock? The map CCS has online doesn't provide much insight into where everything is located. When do gates open? Do they ever close? I'm doing the Friday  practice so I'll get there laaate Thursday night, probably around 11 or 12 at night, will I be able to get into the track and setup camp?

Any thought/maps/ideas would help!

Thanks brothers!

I talked to them at the CMP office and you'll be able to get in anytime thursday night.  They are opening the gate at 5p on Thursday. I'll be there at 4:59pm

My first time to CMP too, can't wait.

bring a carpet or something to park on the pits are dirt except for the road way (unless they paved the whole place since last year)
you can camp right where your pit is and the electric wasn't very good last year  breakers kept tripping and it wasn't crowded.

its a fun track

gates usually close at 10 pm, pretty strict about it.  always ask though before you leave and go eat.  they have been known to leave a little early.
