Right then. So i'm gunna start using race fuel in my race bike but heres the catch. I cant afford to use it all the time. So i'm gunna just use pump fuel for the practise then use the race fuel just for the races. So heres the question. I'm gunna get a custom map soon, so do i map it to pump fuel cause thats what i will mostly use as practise is all day saturday. Or do i map it to the race fuel. What are the pros and cons of doing that. If i map it to pump fuel and just add the race fuel for the races will that make much difference. Or if i map it to race fuel will it run like poo for the practise's. Any help would be great as i'm clueless in this area ( as like all other area's)

Map it for the race gas. You made the decision to spend more $ on the stuff so best to get the most out of it when you do use it.  With this being said I would save my money or spend it on other items first.  It does make a difference but not to such a degree that it will take a significant amount of time off your lap times, if any.

It will run good on pump gas even when mapped for the race gas.

If you have a PC USB you could have it mapped for both and then switch maps as well.
Good luck.

What fuel are you planning on running, Tony?

I just got a hold of some R-tech racing fuel (outlaw)

http://www.r-techracingfuel.com/fuel.php

It seemed to be pretty good. But its the first time i have ever used race fuel so i dont know much about it. I was told there is gunna be some VP4.1 coming out soon so i might try that as well (and you dont need to drain it). Does anyone know what the difference is bewteen the two or which one is better.cause which ever one i use i'm gunna get it mapped to that fuel and stick with it.

I can't give you a comparison, but they are "similar" in that they are leaded and that they contain more oxygenate than pump gas.

Seat of the pants, in comparing R Tech Outlaw and pump gas, R Tech is lighter (the specific gravity), leaded and has more oxygenate.  Running pump as an alternative to Outlaw...it's going to be close.  You'd probably be best served when getting a map, draining and running it with pump gas to make sure.
