How was the concert last night?

Well, Gnarls Barkley opened.  Not a big fan, and his voice was absolutely SHOT, but he still did his best to put out some tunes.

The Chili Peppers took the stage and I have mixed feelings...  The music was great.  Just as if it was on the radio or CD.  They played most all of their old hits and mixed it with new stuff.

The stage setup, lighting, effects were pretty cool.

The thing that leaves me feeling kinda -- ehh -- is that there was ZERO crowd interaction.  Nothing.  Anthony said absolutely nothing to the crowd.  Not a Hello Milwaukee, not a thing...  Flea said like 5 words and that was it...

Just left me with the feeling that they were only there to cover a mortgage and not because they enjoyed it...

It wasn't a 'bad' show, but it wasn't a Godsmack or Marilyn Manson show by any means...

They used to be cool, but now they are over rated, and really did not deserve a grammy.

If I hear one more freakin' Pepeers song about California I am going to puke.

I saw their last cock-sock show in Green Bay, '89 I think. They rocked. But hey, it was the 80s? upliftmofopartyplananyone?
