Come on AGV!!!

ok, I've got to complain a little bit about agvsport.  I used their leathers last season, and I claimed them for contigency.  After taking the time to make sure I had everything set up with, I raced the season with them.  A few weeks ago I was going to order a custom suit from them with the contingecy I had.  First off, I called and left 3 or 4 phone messages, and a couple of emails, none of which were reterned.  So after I kept calling, and week or so passing, I finally get in touch with a guy that informs me that they are too buisy, and aren't even taking orders for leathers.  So that ended the conversation, then I wanted to ask them if they would let me use that towards an off the shelf set of leathers.  So after another few UNRETERNED CALLS, I finally talked with someone again, who informed me they won't allow the use of contingency on their shelf lethers, but said he could get me a good deal on a set if I was interested.  He said he would call me back with the price, and GUESS WHAT HAPPEND, NO RETURN CALL!!!!

This is really unfortuante cause I have liked the AGV leathers I have had, but this is just staight bull!!!    AGV!!!!!  DO they just not care about the small time CCS racers or something?  I think I will definitely be using a different brand this year, and I'm really disapointed at the un-proffessionalism by AGVSPORT.

He had similar issues, but was able to contact somebody and get it resolved.

Same thing here except that I was always able to get Harvey, Mondays only.   No leathers though.  I've been looking for alternatives.  Mine are 10 years old!  Time for some new ones.

Dang!!!  10 YEARS OLD!!!  I crashed in mine and had to have them cut off the first season I raced in them!!!  I guess I should quit crashing hahaha

agv sport claims that the stretchy fabric (in the crotch and behind the elbows and knees) in their suits is made from kevlar keprotec. sounds like tuff stuff, right? well, it's b.s.!!! it just so happened that i needed an adjustment for fit on my agv sport suit. i sent a sample of the material to schoeller, the maker of kevlar keprotec in hopes of getting the material for my adjustment. hats off to schoeller, they sent me a piece of keprotec but also informed me that the material in the agv sport suit was not the same material. it is a cheap stretchy fabric with absolutely no abrasion resistance like kevlar. i confronted agv sport about this and basically got a "sorry 'bout that". in summary, don't waste your money on agv sport's cheap garbage. i won't buy from a company that lies about the quality of their product. it's hard to tell what other claims they make are b.s. too.

I emailed them and told them to take me off whatever sponsor list they might have me on after 3 months of not getting anything that they said they were sending over and over again.
i do like there leathers but don't want to deal with them
and i happened to pick up a new set of there leathers at a local shop. but i wont list them or claim in any form

Yea, I hear ya Gary.  I think I'm just giving up on them as well.  Whats the use using their name to get contigency that they won't even honor?
