Is anybody planning on running LWSS this year?

Either way, what classes are you planning to run?

Thanks for the replies-Jack

ha yeah it should be an awesome thunderbike grid, sad part is that the grid is in front of the bonfire and the race is who can empty there cooler first. aside from that, ill only be doing a couple of mw/gp races and I certainly wont be riding SS.

ThunderBike,GTlights, lightweight GP  when my shoulder heals! Gotta look up the rules - some classes may not apply now with slicks going on-

Super Dave

You can't run supersport with slicks.  F40?  That I don't know exactly.

Yea Dave I wont be doing any lightweight SS with the newer and K3 improved SV from Valley  Racing in Beecher Ill.It doesnt even come close(especially with michelin slicks ) to Supersport classification -                    F40 ? I believe so, but will check that- with the sv i am sure there will be plenty of  classes to enter -

Going to run LWSS, SB, GP, TB, and GT Lights in MW and/or GP as long as the $$$ hold out.

I am on the fence whether to run slicks or not.  Bridgestone pays the best, but their DOTs for the SV aren't that good from what I've heard.  If the Trackaddix Series still had Thunderbike, it would be a no brainer, but they eliminated that class.  I've heard a number of people are doing mods that will move them out of SS, so I'm not sure how many will be lining up for LWSS.  Anyway, I appreciate the response so I have a better idea of what the grids will look like.  See you all this season!

Jack, I ran the stone slicks twice last year and I never got them to really hook up.  After going to michelin DOT's the bike worked a LOT better..  I got a lot of front end push with the slicks.  I was using take off fronts from my R6 and they worked much better lol!

And no lw for me this year most likely.  Getting two bikes set up each weekend was a bit of a pain.

F40 and LWF40 use Superbike rules. Slicks are OK.
