I was reading the requirements for Michelin contingency money and I noticed it said that a patch was required on your leathers in addition to the 4 stickers on the bike.   I googled for Michelin patch and found a link to Road Racer X for free patches.  The offer was a little old, but I sent in my request for 2 patches along with a SASE.  Lo and behold, about 10 days later, I have my patches.  In time for Homestead too!  The only difference is the patch dimensions are 1x6.75", not 1x7.75".  Probably a typo.

They have some other freebies too.

Even easier is to send your gear in to Alexa to have them put on. She keeps an inventory of common sponsor patches. While your suit is there you can have her put your name etc on it. She does great work.

Just a heads up,  I had Alexa put the Michelin patches on my Vanson leathers,  and they look terrible.  Nothing to do with Alexa's work.  She rocks.  The patches were too long for the shoulders.  Not a big deal,  just a heads up.

Yeah, Johnny's right, those were last years patches. Ron Wood is having the patch redesigned to better fit the shoulder of a roadracing suit. I'm told I'll be getting a giant package of them as soon as he has them in hand. Right now we are almost out of Michelin patches, so hopefully the new ones will be here ASAP.

My michelin patches look great!
Either Alexa got me the special ones, or I just have broad, manly shoulders.
